Serena May Smith and Amy Kiernan met at the Dark Horse tavern in Southbridge, MA at open mic night. Amy heard Serena singing with her current musical partner and offered to help her get gigs because she loved what she heard of her voice. They supported each other's solo and band shows, until one day they decided to give their own partnership a try. During just one night of rehearsal, an unbreakable bond and a mutual respect of each other's songwriting came into play. (As well as their song, 'The Station'.)

UG Bass Player, Gregg Ackerman
Amy & Serena knew Gregg from him wandering into one of Amy's open mic's in Sturbridge MA in 2014, upright bass in hand. Gregg fronts the band 'Spooner Well' along with fiddle player/vocalist Bill Simpson and drums/vocalist Rich Giordano. He and Amy hosted an open mic at The Oxhead Tavern in Sturbridge MA (which beings again July of 2019 with Serena) and became accustomed to each other's writing. They co-wrote the song 'Falling Hard' in 2017; a popular Spooner Well song.
When Serena and Amy decided to sit in on a Sunday Jam at Rich's home in Western MA, the harmonies and cohesive blend was an obvious but ear catching choice. Gregg has sat in on a number of sets, but agreed to become a regular part of the full band arrangement officially in 2018.
